So many precious home movies were captured on the out-of-date VHS platform. As tape deteriorates, it’s imperative to transfer footage to DVDs or USB to preserve these memories. Many First Communions, Confirmations, Family Holidays and other precious memories are stored on Camcorder and Videotapes. While VHS and most Camcorder Tapes are pretty robust, proper storage is essential. Sometimes mould can appear if they are saved in damp, humid, or cold conditions.
